Droid X, Hold It Any Way You Like!

The new Droid X is being premiered soon and will be released to the public.  People are starting to get worked up and I can only assume we will have people camping out, just as there were for the iPhone 4. Many upset about the iPhone’s signal situation, the new Droid X is said to have two antennas inside the phone which will allow you to hold the phone however you would like to.

In a society that demands perfection, speed and convenience, Apple really dropped the ball with the reception error.  Droid X is surely going to compete with the iPhone 4 and is expected to find new users with the latest flaws.

In an ad found in the Wednesday’s New York Times, the newspaper began to tout Droid X’s countless wonders, Droid X is, well, big and very Droidy. The new Droid X will be launched July 15th and it seems that the phone will become the biggest record breaking phone for Verizon, but it will be interesting to see if the Droid X can get close to the record sale of 1.7 million phones sold in merely 3 days.

Features found on the iPhone 4 are the following: Thinner than the 3GS, stainless steel body and 3.5 inch glass front retina display with 960x640resolution, dual camera, 720 HD recording, iMovie and iBook capability.  Some of the main features found on the Droid X are the following:  4.3 inch touch-screen display with 854 x 480 resolution, swipe software, flash adobe abilities, 8 mega-pixel real color camera with dual LED flash, DVD quality of 720 video capture, 2 antennas for supreme reception and android 2.2 support.

Back in 2007, when Apple teamed up with AT&T to make a revolutionary iphone, no one had any idea, what would become of Verizon.  The iPhone was new technology created for the typical computer and phone user.  Verizon took a big hit and even though they were the biggest nationwide wireless company, I am sure they were really scared about what this would do to the company in a whole.  The wireless division knew that they would have to design something that would excel all features of the iPhone to get their consumers back.

Within time, Verizon created several phones, but nothing as good as the iPhone until now.  The Droid X seems to be one step above the iPhone 4.  It is known that the majority of iPhone users adapt to the limitations of features the phone has to offer, when instead the phone should be made to fit the consumer’s needs.

Verizon on the other hand have been listening to their customers and are offering several options between phones, preferences and features.  In reality AT&T knows that Verizon is high competition, but feels presently that the Apple iPhone 4 may change things.  Apple believes they are staying loyal to their customers by upgrading the features, but keeping the applications the same while sustaining the price.  Fans cannot do anything, but keep purchasing the next new thing from Apple no matter what the imperfections are.

The new wave is going to introduce Android phones, which will be a massive hype in the phone market.  The Motorola Droid X will work on manufacturing issues before, so there will not be pre-ordering problems which Apple and AT&T faced.  Some people feel that Verizon has been one step behind Apple and AT&T, but I believe that they are just smarter, meaning by having Apple introduce the iPhone 4 this will allow Verizon to improve any problems their phones may have before they hit shelves.
