Jack Russell Terrier Chews off Drunk Owners Toe

Jerry Douthett a Michigan man was extremely grateful that his Jack Russel Terrier chewed his toe off. I know it’s very weird that anyone would say that, but true. Jerry knew he had something wrong with his foot weeks prior. After weeks of nit picking from his wife, he schedules a doctor’s appointment, keep in mind she is a nurse. Before his appointment he decided to go drinking, afterwards he came home and crashed.

When he awoke, he saw lots of blood and his Jack Terrier rested beside him. His wife rushed him to Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus where doctors found a bad bone infection and removed the rest of the infected bone. Doctors also made the startling discovery that Mr. Douthett has been suffering from Type 2 diabetes. The family’s pet is still living with them, but is under observation by authorities
