Ok, I am not going to get to opinionated over this considering I’m not a Lion’s fan but wow! Did I miss something? What is the NFL turning into? I know I am not the only one who thought this call was bogus and completely ludicrous? Originally called a touchdown, the official overturns it, for there to be a last second review to determine the games winner.
If that’s not a touchdown catch then I don’t know what is. Two feet down, plus his body while maintaining possession. He didn’t have to reach; he was in the END ZONE! I just don’t get the concept of taking away a team’s win that could possibly be their only win this season. All jokes aside, I believe the Lions will win a few more games this year, but there needs to be some serious changes to league policies. I can only imagine how Calvin Johnson feels about the loss. The Bears should hold their head down considering this game was given to them, not to mention they weren’t very impressive to begin with (Sorry Chicago fans).
What’s your take on the controversial call? I hope last year’s super bowl mishaps and bad calls aren’t going to roll over to poor officiating this year. LET THEM PLAY FOOTBALL! I won’t even get into the whole blackout ordeal; I will save that venting for another day.
