Happy Holidays 2010 – Time to Decorate the Tree

I hope all Lambslife friends had a happy Thanksgiving. I have to admit I love the holidays, but man I dread thinking of a new look for the tree each year. Maybe I just over analyze things and should just throw up some ordinary lights and decorative bulbs. Unfortunately, the body says to do just that but the mind won’t allow it. Every year we usually try a new theme or color pattern. Last year we setup up a blue, white and silver Indianapolis Colts tree and that was pretty impressive.

However, this year I am stuck at the first strand of lights, Steph and I are just scratching our heads, lol. I know what you’re thinking but I know many of you have found yourself in this quandary. Who wants the same old decorative colors each year right? Anyhow I decided to do what many would do and turn to the infamous Google and search for ideas. Comes to find out that my taste is just too rich and the majority of trees I found looked like the average Christmas tree with the multicolor lights. (No pun intended)

I guess its back to square one, I am creative and surely with Stephanie’s help we will think of something unique. Just a side note, but be sure to take your time picking your tree, we kind of rushed this year and let’s just say our tree won’t be winning any competitions anytime soon, if you have ever had a “Charlie Brown” tree then you understand what I mean. If you have suggestions or pictures, please be sure to share. I need the inspiration. Oh and happy holidays again everyone, may you all have a happy, blessed Christmas.
